Simple Ground Station Features:

The SGS features include:

• Communication testing through one MDR transmitters and one MDR receiver.

• Control of second MDR transmitter to generate potential interference to the other MDR transmitter.

• VDL Configurations: 4V and Rockwell Collins BER test mode (2V2D) 

• 8 selectable, internally stored voice loops of compressed audio files (6 seconds in length each) for uplink.

• 4 selectable VCM modules for live audio uplink and downlink audio decompressing and monitoring.

• Mapping of any uplink audio source to any MAC slot V-Burst in a 4V system configuration.

• Mapping of any downlink MAC slot V-Burst to any VCM module.

• Selectable TX power for each MAC slot.

• Bit Error Rate and dropped message analysis for each MAC slot of received V-Burst data when sourced from internally stored voice loops.

• Individually enabled Management Bursts with fixed content for each MDR transmitter.

• NEXCOM timing channel generation on T1 ports.

• Supports VDL-3 compressed voice messages over TDM Bus.

• Field upgradeable software (via Debug Terminal.)

• Fractional symbol burst offset control.

• Supports MDR Configuration Queries.
